The Empire Continues: Lethal Vows & What’s Next in the Empire of Sins Series

I’m beyond excited (and a little emotional) to officially announce that Lethal Vows, the second and final book in the House of Russo duet, is set to release in Fall 2025!

This book will mark the epic conclusion of Dario and Katrina’s intense, dangerous, and deeply passionate love story—a journey that started with secrets, obsession, and betrayal, and ends with fierce loyalty and love. It’s been a wild ride, and I cannot wait for you to experience the final chapter of their romance.

But don’t worry—this isn’t the end of the Empire of Sins series.

The House of Russo duet may close Dario and Katrina’s arc, but the empire is far from quiet. Standalone books will continue to explore the lives, loves, and secrets of the other characters you’ve come to know (and possibly side-eye). These upcoming stories will dive into new romances, fresh conflicts, and even deeper into the underworld that connects them all.

You can expect familiar faces—yes, Dario and Katrina will absolutely make cameos—but the spotlight will shift to others whose stories are ready to be told.

I would also like to take a moment to express my gratitude. Seeing the response to Dark Obsession has been incredibly humbling and motivating. I poured my heart into that book, and the fact that readers connected with it means the world to me. I hope that love continues as I expand the series, because truly, I’m just getting started.

Writing these characters and building this world has been an unforgettable experience. From ruthless mafia bosses to morally grey heroines, every moment of chaos, lust, and vulnerability has been a thrill to write. And the best part? There’s so much more to come.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do with Empire of Sins is bring a fresh perspective to the mafia romance genre. While New York and Chicago often dominate the setting, I chose to anchor my stories in Toronto, Canada. It’s a city I know, and one that holds a quiet, real presence in the underworld—a setting I think brings something different to the genre. Of course, Italy still plays its part (how could it not?), but Canada is home base for this empire, and I love what that adds to the tone and grit of the series.

So whether you’ve been with me from Dark Obsession or you’re just discovering the Empire, thank you for reading. Thank you for loving these flawed, dangerous, beautiful characters. And thank you for letting me continue to tell their stories.
